AO - Poor performance using VPN

The response time, when the AO is run using the local desktop is very good.

When connected using VPN, these are the findings.

1. When, the input ready query alone is used in the workbook, the response time for the prompt screen to pop up is around 1:30 min.

2. When, the planning functions are added(atleast 1) to the workbook, the response time for the prompt screen to pop up is around 4:20 min.

I have been trying to debug and see which step takes the time, the filters used by the planning functions are taking more time.

I ran  the planning function in RSPLAN in BW, it works fast,but when included in the workbook, it takes longer time.

Anybody faced this issue?
