Hi Friends,
I am get struck into a strange issue while connecting the MS office Analysis with SAP HANA.
1. I am using an 64 bit Windows OS and Installed Analysis for Microsoft Office 1.4 Version(32 bit)
2. Installed SAP HANA Client drivers "HDBODBC" version V8503
3. I also tried created the ODBC connection as well.
C:\Windows\System32\odbcad32 > System DSN tab > Add > Choose HDBODBC completed the steps.
4. Now I trying to connect to the HANA data source
Open the Analysis / Insert / Select_Data_Source --- Enter the BOE server connection details (User, Password & Web Service URL)
It gives me the list of connections, here I am selecting BW - HANA as my connection and hit Next > once again (User & Password) after this hit enter/Ok.
Issue: I am getting this "HANA ODBC driver (HDBODBC*) not found. Make sure that HANA Client is installed on this machine"
5. I tired the same steps in the other PC were the HANA client is installed in that machine, It gives the same error..!
Has someone came across this situation, can anyone shed some lights on this problem..?
